BACKGROUND HISTORY

In early 2017, Adam and Chris, two lifelong best friends, launched a company to offer a platform for others to build their personal collections. This platform provides collectors an opportunity to split the costs of trading card hobby boxes and cases with other hobby enthusiasts, allowing them a strategic path to get the teams/players they want to collect and/or an opportunity to obtain highly sought-after items at a fraction of the cost. In early 2018, Buck City Breaks was given the Breaker of the Year award from Beckett Media for their dedication to providing the hobby community with the best live group break experience! In 2019, their "hobby for the hobby" turned into a full-time gig. Adam's basement transformed into their studio. Fast forward to 2021, and Buckeye City Sports Cards now houses a 3,200 sqft state-of-the-art facility, opening sports cards for their customers live on YouTube five nights a week with the help of their amazing staff; David, Erin and Jeff. Today, Chris and Adam's passion for the hobby has grown into a thriving business that carries an ever-expanding product mix. Yes, it all started with two collectors, their love for sports cards and desire to provide every collector with the ability to build their collections and fill their holes – regardless of what they were searching for.
